In 2015, the four partners at Phantom Films, the production house set up by directors Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and producer Madhu Mantena discovered that one of them had been accused of sexually assaulting a woman crew member during the promotional tour of the film, Bombay Velvet. After the pre-release bash of the film Bombay Velvet, Bahl and the woman and others continued their celebrations. The woman said she asked Bahl to leave the room several times, but he refused. Anurag Kashyap October 5, 2018 Vikramaditya Motwane also announced the development on Twitter and wrote: "Vikas, Madhu, Anurag and I have decided to dissolve our partnership in Phantom and go our separate ways.
