Congress has no chance to return to power in Karnataka: Bommai
Deccan ChronicleMangaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai accused the opposition parties of being unable to accept the development in the state and resorting to baseless allegations against the government. Speaking to reporters at Banahatti helipad in Bagalkot on Sunday, Bommai asserted that the people of Karnataka are mature and intelligent enough not to be influenced by such tactics of the opposition. "The state has entered a new era of progress with the government making every effort to ensure development in key sectors such as irrigation, agriculture, industry, and social welfare. He however asserted that the people of Karnataka have already rejected the Congress Party's leaders after seeing their performance while in power during the last term.
