Trains running again after power failure hits line to Utrecht

Train services round Utrecht are still recovering from a power failure that left passengers stranded for more than four hours on Monday evening. Trains were unable to run to and from Utrecht Centraal after the power cut caused a signal failure at Abcoude, on the main line to Amsterdam. Rail operator ProRail warned that some trains would still be affected on Tuesday because of related issues, including a points failure between Utrecht and ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
