As senior advocate Vikas Singh, counsel for Hindu Mahasabha, sought permission to present a book in front of the Supreme Court bench as a fresh piece of evidence, Dhawan raised an objection. As the entire drama on the 40th day of the Ayodhya hearings unfolded in court, counsel for the Hindu Mahasabha said that the new book he was trying to present as evidence shows Sita's kitchen on the southwest side of the dispute birthplace. The five judge Supreme Court bench has asked all parties in the Ayodhya land dispute case to finish their arguments by 5 pm on Wednesday.
