Telangana HC refuses to stay Group-2 exams
Deccan ChronicleHYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court on Monday refused to stay conduct of Group -2 competitive examination, which is scheduled for December 15 and 16. Rajashekar, standing counsel for the Telangana Public Service Commission, informed the court that the Group-2 Examination will be held from December 15 and around 5.51 lakh students are appearing for the exam and over a lakh candidates had downloaded the hall tickets. Jagganagari Venkat Sai, counsel for the petitioners, said that the Railway Recruitment Board exams were scheduled from December 16 to 18. The judge, after considering the contentions of the standing counsel said that at this stage, the Group-2 examination could not be stayed and issued notices to the Chief Secretary, TGPSC secretary and RRB secretary.
