More often than not, sequels to blockbusters are met with a certain amount of distrust. The first film dealt with kids battling a horrific entity that takes the form of a murderous clown, who preys on children. The film also struck an emotional chord, as the leader Billy suffers a personal loss when his brother is murdered by the clown. Surprisingly, It: Chapter 2 has not fared as well as the first, and is getting negative reviews and has been termed as "predictable" and "messy". THE EMOTIONAL VALUE Even if It: Chapter 2 is rather shaky in the horror elements, its emotional moments do hit you in the feels.
