Park named after SP Balasubhramanyam in Nellore

Nellore: A renovated park in Nellore was named after ace playback singer late S.P. The park was inaugurated by former minister and Nellore city legislator Dr P. Anilkumar Yadav. Speaking on the occasion, Anilkumar Yadav said the park developed at an estimated cost of Rs 90 lakh is a tribute to Balasubhramanyam while referring to his roots to Nellore city. “We decided to put the name of this renowned popular singer in the country to the park to keep his memories alive in the minds of the people of the district,” Anilkumar said. Anilkumar said the SPB park contains two badminton courts and a room is earmarked for Gym and Yoga and a walking track is being developed at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh.
