Days after Google announced AI-powered features for its Docs, Sheets and other applications, Microsoft announced the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot, which integrates artificial intelligence capabilities into its popular and widely used applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. With our new copilot for work, we’re giving people more agency and making technology more accessible through the most universal interface — natural language.” Microsoft said in a blog post that it is currently testing Microsoft 365 Copilot with 20 customers, including eight in Fortune 500 enterprises. "You’re always in control as the author, driving your unique ideas forward, prompting Copilot to shorten, rewrite or give feedback," the blog read.In Excel, Copilot will help users analyze trends and create professional-looking data visualizations in seconds. The launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot comes just days after Google announced that it is bringing AI features to Gmail, Docs, and other Workspace apps.
