SA vs PAK, 2nd ODI: Pakistan outplays South Africa to earn 81-run win and take series lead
The HinduShaheen Shah Afridi produced a spell of high-quality seam bowling as Pakistan claimed its One-Day International series against South Africa with a game to spare following a comprehensive 81-run victory at Newlands on Thursday. SA vs PAK 2nd ODI HIGHLIGHTS Captain Mohammad Rizwan scored 80 from 82 balls to anchor the Pakistan innings, but the impetus for its total came from a superb 63 from 32 deliveries by Kamran Ghulam. Babar Azam provided 73 in 95 deliveries with the visitor profiting from some sloppy South African fielding as it dropped numerous catches and was not accurate enough with the ball. Afridi showed superb control and recorded figures of 4-47 as he ripped through the South African middle-order, removing the dangerous David Miller for 29 to take the game away from the home side.
