Twitter rolls out Clubhouse-like audio feature Spaces for select iOS users

Twitter introduced Spaces in late December, last year, which it described as online venues built around the voices of the people using the platform. However, the app is currently in private beta and Clubhouse in its Twitter description directs users to download the app to join the waitlist. Twitter’s Spaces which is very similar to Clubhouse, lets users have audio-discussions and allows users to join a “space” through DM invites. While Clubhouse does not let users or record conversations, Twitter notes that it retains copies of Spaces for 30 days after the end “to review for violations of the Twitter Rules.” Twitter notes that hosts can download a copy of their Space data for as long as it retains a copy of it. However, Twitter describes Spaces as the “space to share thoughts, send emojis, and more.” Following are the steps in which you can start a Space: -- Users can start a Space two ways -- either by long pressing on compose and then tapping the new Spaces icon on the far left.
