KTR, Harish Rao Inaugurate IT Tower in Siddipet
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: IT minister K.T.Rama Rao and finance minister T. Harish Rao inaugurated the IT Tower in Siddipet on Thursday and handed over allotment letters to 17 companies that had secured office space. Rama Rao said that the state government was setting up IT towers in the districts to demonstrate its commitment to expanding the sector beyond Hyderabad. Harish Rao said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had delivered on election promises, including a separate district for Siddipet, Godavari water and a rail network for the district. Enumerating the development works implemented in the district, such as a police commissionerate, drinking water and irrigation facilities, Harish Rao noted that an IT tower has also been established, providing employment opportunities to local youth.
