Dakar Rally 2023 kicks off in Saudi Arabia
India TodayDakar Rally The 45th edition of the gruelling Dakar Rally kicked off in Saudi Arabia. This is also the seventh outing for the homegrown Hero Motosports Team Rally, which has taken to the Arabian desert with four riders. The first stage of the Dakar Rally, is a 603km stretch around the Sea Camp with a 367km stretch for the special section. Speaking on the team’s result, Wolfgang Fischer, Team Manager, Hero MotoSports Team Rally said,”We are back at the Dakar after a full year of preparations, and I'm happy that our riders have secured solid results to get good starting positions in the first stage, the first day of 2023.
