New PlayStation controller design revealed in patent

Deccan Chronicle

Sony’s PlayStation 5 is expected to arrive in 2020 and while most of the device has already been leaked over the last few weeks, a new patent from Sony shows the new controller design. The controllers will now use haptic feedback that will target specific pressure points according to the game you play and the action you execute. The new design features a fairly different shape for the controller. This is actually a good thing since the Xbox controller designs always felt more comfortable than the PS4 DualShock controllers.
