Assam govt suspend all physical classes in educational institutes amid Covid-19 surge
India TodayThe government of Assam, keeping in mind the rapid increase of Covid-19 cases in the state, has decided to suspend all the physical classes across educational institutes in the state. Due to the surge of Covid-19 cases in Assam, all the educational institutes in the state, including primary, higher secondary schools, colleges, and universities, will remain closed till further notice for the safety of the students. Assam Class 10, Class 12 exams postponed In recent news, the Secondary Education Board of Assam also announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in the state are being postponed for the safety of the students and staff amid the rise of Covid-19 cases in the state. Apart from the postponement of the board exams in the state, higher educational institutes such as Dibrugarh University and Gauhati University have also postponed their semester exams, which were scheduled to be conducted in May.
