Officials clear encroached land near HD Kumaraswamy's farmhouse after court rap

A day after the Karnataka High Court questioned the delay in executing eviction orders in a land encroachment case involving Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy, authorities launched an encroachment clearance operation near his farmhouse in Ramanagara district. Ramanagara Deputy Commissioner Yashwant V Gurukar and Additional SP Suresh oversaw the operation as the Revenue Department, in coordination with survey officials, began reclaiming government land. Officials marked the encroached land with boundary stones and stated that several individuals, including Kumaraswamy, had allegedly encroached on more than 14 acres of government property. DK SHIVAKUMAR DISMISSES VENDETTA POLITICS CLAIMS Dismissing allegations of vendetta politics, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said Kumaraswamy need not worry if he was not involved in any encroachment.
