Two people have been arrested and sent to jail in connection with an alleged rape of a teenage girl in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur district. The girl was allegedly raped and singed with cigarette butts by the two men on Friday in the Gola area of Gorakhpur district as per allegations made by the girl's family. Alleging that the accused burnt the girl with butt of the cigarettes, the father said, "My daughter told me that she was abducted and raped over night by these men." The girl's body was found in a sugarcane field that belonged to one of the accused, police said on Saturday.
