BDA’s tender for sports complex in Shivaram Karanth Layout sparks anger among NPKL allottees
The HinduThe Bengaluru Development Authority floating tender for the preparation of a Detailed Project Report on the design and development of a state-of-the-art sports complex in Dr. K. Shivaram Karanth Layout has triggered anger among the allottees of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout. The allottees are also miffed that BDA Commissioner N. Jayaram did not attend the Legislature’s Petitions Committee meetings twice despite being summoned over delay in NPKL works. The BDA floated the tender to prepare DPR for the sports complex in Dr. K. Shivaram Karanth Layout on February 4, even as sites are yet to be allotted. But BDA seems to be working full-swing to develop Shivaram Karanth Layout, even before sites are allotted.” Mr. Suryakiran said the BDA Commissioner had skipped two meetings convened by the petition committee - one in January and another in February - to review the work progress at NPKL.
