Report found potential conflicts of interest and pattern of nepotism An investigation into the council's recruitment and procurement processes began in April, and an interim report handed down on Thursday identified "areas of concern". But there were concerns flagged beyond the scope of the interim report, relating "to potential maladministration and/or corruption", ultimately leading to the NSW government launching the public inquiry.
