Public Library Collection Project of the Revitalization Library kicks off
China DailyAt the 35th Beijing Book Fair in late February, the Public Library Collection Project of "Revitalization Library" kicked off. Ten public libraries, including the National Library of China, Capital Library of China and Shanghai Library, became the first libraries that collected these books. Themed on the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, following the historical development of thoughts, the library selects important literature concerning the national revival since the Opium War in 1840. It presents a panoramic recording of the historical steps of the Chinese people who have perseveringly fought for a powerful and prosperous country and a happy life, displaying the thoughts that have influenced the process of China's development, the advancement of the society and the promotion of national revival.
