Mahesh Babu on producing Major: Some stories need to be told, not all can have me in them
Mahesh Babu recently announced that he is venturing into production with his banner GMB Entertainment. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka of Goodachari fame, this film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who saved several lives during the 26/11 terrorist attack at the Taj Palace in Mumbai. In an interview to an entertainment portal, producer Mahesh Babu opened up about his production venture and added that he would have been glad to play Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the movie. Opening about his production house and Major, Mahesh Babu said, "First of all, I am not an active producer. "Major" is a biopic based on our national hero Sandeep Unnikrishnan and actor Adivi Sesh has been travelling with his story for a long time, and he fits the bill completely.
