Ex Infosys employee says worked there crazy for 9 years, had only Rs 35,000 monthly salary
India TodayA former Infosys employee from Bengaluru took to Reddit to share his candid experiences of working at one of India's largest IT firms. He also mentioned that whenever he refers former Infosys colleagues to his current company, they usually receive an 80-100 per cent hike in pay, revealing how underpaid employees at Infosys continue to be. "I paid Rs 3,200 monthly for transport at Infosys, while parking also came at an extra cost," he shared. "Infosys relied on single-digit annual salary hikes of 4-6 per cent, which made it difficult to earn a competitive salary over time," he added. He also pointed out the lack of "market corrections" in salaries at Infosys, contrasting it with his current employer, which periodically adjusts salaries to align with market trends.
