'Lol, ok': Trump hiring man said to have 'sued a cow' leads to internet ridicule

Donald Trump's critics laughed at the president-elect's announcement on Saturday. Trump's announcement of a spot for Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes prompted one reporter to describe purported "conflicts of interest." Santiago Mayer, a political commentator and the founder of Voters Of Tomorrow, said, "Every time anyone mentions Devin Nunes my immediate reaction is 'you mean the guy who sued a cow over mean tweets?'" Mayer was referring to the notion that Nunes has "sued a number of people who were mean to him online, including the Twitter parody accounts Devin Nunes' Mom and Devin Nunes' Cow," according to the American Civil Liberties Union. The social media account featured in the Nunes litigation, Devin Nunes' Cow, simply responded with, "I give up" in response to the Trump announcement.
