CM Revanth outlines vision for North Telangana’s development

Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said that the Congress government was focussed on the development of North Telangana region and unveiled his vision to transform Warangal into the second major city in Telangana, following Hyderabad. As part of the Congress government's commitment, Revanth Reddy launched a series of infrastructure and welfare projects worth ₹4,848.47 crore in Warangal district. Drawing inspiration from former prime minister Indira Gandhi, Revanth Reddy launched an initiative to make one crore women crorepatis by supporting women self help groups with interest-free loans. He declared that Warangal’s women leaders like ministers Konda Surekha and Danasari Anasuya ‘Seethakka’ would continue to play prominent roles in the Congress government.
