Movement for all non-essential activities banned from 7 pm to 7 am: MHA guidelines on lockdown
India TodayThe ongoing nationwide lockdown has been extended for another 2 weeks after May 4 when the second phase of the lockdown was supposed to come to an end. In coronavirus red zones, movement of individuals, vehicles have been allowed only for permitted activities during the lockdown days. The MHA has said that under the new lockdown guidelines, a limited number of activities will remain prohibited in the country, irrespective of the zones. According to the MHA guidelines, across all three colour zones, people above 65 years of age, people with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below 10 years will have to stay at home at all times. These include plying of cycle rickshaws, auto rickshaws, running of taxis and cab aggregators, intra-district and inter-district plying of buses, barber shops, spas and saloons continue to remain banned through the lockdown.
