Sprint, Airbus and Delta want to improve in-flight WiFi
In-flight WiFi has become increasingly available on airplanes, but it's also notoriously slow, expensive and spotty. The 'Seamless Air Alliance,' which was launched at Mobile World Congress on Sunday, aims to let mobile operators provide services to airline customers through satellite technology. The Seamless Air Alliance is working to make in-flight internet connections faster, cheaper and more streamlined across different airlines. A 5G internet connection is delivered via satellites Delta said Gogo, its current in-flight connectivity partner, will also join the alliance. Delta said its current in-flight network provider, Gogo, will also join the Seamless Air Alliance MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS 2018 Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest gathering for the smartphone industry.
