Kalakkode CHC gets TB testing device
The Kalakkode Community Health Centre, which has been providing services including a mobile lab for bedridden patients, will begin providing tuberculosis diagnosis with a state-of-the-art Truenat PCR machine. Currently, PCR machines are available at Kollam Medical College Hospital, District TB Centre, District Public Health Lab, Kottarakara Taluk Hospital, Punalur Taluk Hospital, Asramam ESI Hospital, and Puthiyakavu TB Hospital. Residents of Chirakkara, Chathannur, Nedumbana, Adichanalloor, Pozhikkara, Paravur municipality, and Poothukkulam can give samples through their respective health centres, and the testing will be arranged at the Kalakkode CHC. Mobile lab The mobile lab provided by the Kalakkode Block Family Health Centre for bedridden patients is a new advancement in patient care.
