Freebies to continue, 'Kejriwal's Guarantee' to have 8–10 promises: Sources

The AAP is likely to continue with its policy of rolling out a slew of freebies to woo voters, with its manifesto to feature 8-10 poll promises, sources said. Apart from free electricity, water, health, education, tirth yatra and bus rides for women, the AAP manifesto will also lay emphasis on infrastructural development. The party has also attempted to woo priests and granthis of gurdwaras by promising Rs 18,000 per month as honorarium, under its Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana. The party is also likely to promise waiver of faulty water bills by the Delhi Jal Board, clean drinking water supply to households and list out major infrastructure projects as part of its manifesto.
