Acharya Kishore Kunal, a former IPS officer, died of cardiac arrest in Patna at 8 am on Sunday morning. Acharya Kishore Kunal rebuilt the Mahavir Mandir and established nine charitable hospitals including Mahavir Arogya Sansthan, Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Mahavir Vatsalya Hospital, Mahavir Netralaya, Mahavir Senior Citizen Hospital. Expressing condolences, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, "The demise of Acharya Kishore Kunal ji, former IPS officer, former president of Bihar State Religious Trust Board and founder secretary of Mahavir Mandir Trust Committee is sad.
