New high-speed railway shortens travel time between Qingdao, Zhengzhou

The high-speed railway connecting Jinan in East China's Shandong province and Puyang in Central China's Henan province went into operation on Dec 8, marking the completion of Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway, which greatly shortens the travel time between Shandong's Qingdao and Henan's Zhengzhou. The Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway starts from Jinan West Railway Station, passing through Jinan and Liaocheng in Shandong province, and then through Puyang, Anyang, Xinxiang and Zhengzhou cities in Henan province. With a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, passengers can take high-speed trains from Jinan West Railway Station directly to Zhengzhou East Railway Station with the shortest commuting time at 103 minutes.
