Ayodhya verdict: Citizens say Supreme Court was impartial

Hyderabad: On Saturday, the day of the Ayodhya verdict, residents of the eastern parts of the city were glued to their TV sets and mobile phones, awaiting updates on the matter. Following the verdict, residents said that the verdict of the court was impartial and was not out to appease any one particular religion or sect. We are happy that an age-old conflict has come to an end.” Even former IFS officer Padmanabha Reddy concurs with the verdict and said that it was a very balanced. Unlike the previous Allahabad High Court judgment, this was a more harmonious solution that the Supreme Court had announced, said Ms Pratyusha Parkala. “This puts an end to years of confusion, this verdict had no winners or losers rather justice was meted out to all parties,” she said.
