Persons who sustained injuries in stone pelting by protestors and caning by the police in Bommanahalli are stable, according to doctors in Prashanth Hospital, where they are being treated. Except for a policeman Narendra, who has been injured in the occipital region, all the four protestors who have been admitted in the hospital have suffered minor injuries, said Hospital’s in charge Medical Officer N.D. Patil. The four protestors – Ansuya, Asha, Roja and Pavithra, who have been admitted – have suffered minor cuts and bruises. Police inspectors Nagaraj, attached to Madiwala police station, and Victor Simon, attached to HSR Layout police, and additional commissioner P Harisekharan also sustained minor injuries.
