
National Defence College delegation visits Andhra Pradesh to study economic security
The HinduA high-level delegation from the National Defence College, New Delhi, visited the Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Authority at Tadepalli in Guntur district on Thursday as part of their study on economic security. Mr. Sisodiya, who also serves as the Director General of the Andhra Pradesh Human Resources Development Authority, said the delegation’s study in the state is scheduled for March 17 to 21. He explained that as part of their National Security and Strategic Studies curriculum, NDC course members visit various states to evaluate economic and social development initiatives, IT advancements, tourism, industrial growth, and rural-urban development. Mr. Sisodiya further mentioned that the Air Marshal of the National Defence College had requested meetings with top state dignitaries, including the Governor, the Chief Minister, the Chief Secretary, and heads of relevant departments, to gain deeper insights into the state’s economic security framework.
