People with visual disabilities often need support of other people to perform their daily activities while social distancing requires to maintain physical distance from people. On World Vision Day, which is celebrated every year on the second Thursday of October, let us understand why social distancing in the times of Covid-19 crisis is a challenge for people with visual disabilities. Speaking to BBC in July, she said that she used to usually take the Metro C but the authorities change everything in San Giovanni to practice social distancing norms.
