Those Unhappy with Babri Verdict Will Get Relief in Higher Courts, Says TMC; Oppn Slams Response

The Trinamool Congress on Wednesday was guarded in its response on the acquittal of all the accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case by a special CBI court in Lucknow and said that “those who are not happy with the judgement will get relief in higher courts”. “We hope that those who are not happy with the judgement will get relief in higher courts,” he said. TMC’s guarded response to the acquittal of all the accused in the Babri Masjid demolition case drew sharp reactions from the BJP and Congress. Leader of the Opposition and senior Congress leader Abdul Mannan advised the TMC to “stop beating around the bush” and”make clear its stand” like the other mainstream political parties.
