After Zomato, Swiggy starts grocery delivery service in some cities

Worry no more as the food-delivery app Swiggy has now started delivering groceries and other essential items in tier 1 and tier 2 cities. As per a report published in Gadgets 360, the company will deliver in tier 1 and tier 2 cities and has also made its Swiggy Go and Swiggy Genie available for other cities as well. Apart from the grocery delivery services, people can also make use of Swiggy’s pick and drop services called the Swiggy Go and Swiggy Genie. Earlier this week, Swiggy’s competitor in India, Zomato too had started grocery delivery in 80 Indian cities "This has already been launched in India and the UAE, and will be live in other markets over the next few days," Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal said in a statement.
