Top Dutch multinational dredger Boskalis could break up over EU sustainability directive

Dutch shipping group Boskalis could potentially be broken up if the European Union does not adapt the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. "The green course of the EU is completely devoid of any reality," said Peter Berdowski, the CEO of the dredging company, which is headquartered in Papendrecht. In March, Boskalis said it already had 300 employees at its Abu Dhabi office, where Berdowski noted they had access to an "endless supply of talent" from Asia.
