Why you shouldn't worry if you haven't got a flat in DDA draw

If you have not managed to get a flat in the Delhi Development Authority’s housing scheme, don’t lose heart. DDA is going to launch an even bigger housing scheme in 2016 with 35,000 flats likely to be launched in the middle or end of 2016. DDA vice-chairman Balvinder Kumar told Hindustan Times that the 2016 housing scheme is going to be even bigger than the latest one. “At present 35,000 to 40,000 flats are in the pipeline, which will be ready by 2016 and would be offered in the proposed housing scheme,” said a senior DDA official. “Unlike the 2014 housing scheme, where 95% flats were one-bedroom type, the next scheme would have a mix of two and three-bedroom flats,” Kumar had earlier told HT.
