Reacting to the general election results 2024 for the first time on Tuesday, Narendra Modi said, “People have placed their faith in NDA, for a third consecutive time! This is a historical feat in India’s history,” “I bow to the Janata Janardan for this affection and assure them that we will continue the good work done in the last decade to keep fulfilling the aspirations of people,” Modi wrote on X. Some 10 hours into counting, partial tallies reported by the Election Commission of India showed the Bharatiya Janata Party was ahead in 196 constituencies and had won 45, including one uncontested, of 543 parliamentary seats.
