Mamta Kulkarni gets a non bailable warrant in 2000 cr Thane drug bust case

The district court here today issued non-bailable warrants against Vicky Goswami and his partner and Mamta Kulkarni in an ephedrine haul case. On 13 April 2016, the police arrested two people with controlled drug Ephedrine worth Rs 12 lakh and later busted a racket that was worth Rs 2,000 crore at a Avon Pharma Life Sciences Private Limited’s factory in Solapur. Now news has emerged that Judge H M Patwardhan has issued non-bailable arrest warrants in a special court against Mamta Kulkarni and alleged international drug lord Vijaygiri aka Vicky Goswami. The warrant was issued after the Thane police produced evidence against Kulkarni, which included WhatsApp chats, pictures of the meetings that were held at Kenya, call records, and also the statements recorded from arrested accused Jay Mukhi, Manoj Jain and Kishore Singh Rathod, reports Hindustan Times.
