Need not worry: Eknath Shinde assures his MLAs as Ajit Pawar camp enters Cabinet
India TodayLegislators and ministers of the Shiv Sena, who had walked out with Eknath Shinde in his coup against former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray last year, have nothing to worry about, the chief minister assured today. This comes amid reports of insecurity and discontent in the Shinde Sena over the induction of the Ajit Pawar camp into the government following the rebellion in the Nationalist Congress Party. Assuring the 50 MLAs who stood by him last year during the Sena crisis, Eknath Shinde said none would be disappointed and asked them to concentrate more on their constituencies. Shinde said, adding, “If problems persist, the MLAs can approach me.” There will be meetings with these MLAs twice a month for updates, Eknath Shinde said, adding that his party will soon announce a convention to strategise for the upcoming polls.
