Role of three tier quasi-judicial set up for consumer disputes The jurisdiction to entertain complaints where consideration does not exceed Rs 1 crore lies with District Commission, where the Consideration exceeds Rs 1 crore but does not exceed Rs 10 crores is with State Commission and where the Consideration paid exceeds INR 10 crores lies with National Consumer Commission. Every consumer has the right to be informed about the particulars of goods and services taken by him/her.
