Residents at the hotel are being transferred to an alternative health hotel, the Pullman Albert Park Hotel, while repairs for the damage are completed, COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria confirmed. The Pullman Albert Park Hotel was previously used to quarantine Australian Open participants but is being repurposed as a health hotel, CQV commissioner Emma Cassar said. A CQV spokesperson said ventilation experts assessed the Pullman Albert Park Hotel and determined it was the most suitable place out of CQV's current hotel stock to accommodate symptomatic and positive residents.
