Congress resorts to ‘adoption tactics’ at Huzurnagar

Hyderabad: Taking the Huzurnagar byelection as a prestige issue, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has adopted a new strategy. Around 100 Congress leaders have adopted one village each in the constituency. After the Dasara festival, all these leaders will camp at their respective villages and mandals till the days for campaigning end, said TPCC treasurer,Gudur Narayana Reddy. Speaking to this news paper, Mr Reddy said that all these leaders would meet the people in their respective villages and explain the failures of the TRS government in several fields and convince them to vote in favour of the Congress. The Congress leaders would also meet the people community-wise and request them to vote for the Congress candidate, he said.
