Google Chrome Version 100 Is Here With New Icon, Almost 14 Years After Initial Release

ABP News

New Delhi: Google Chrome's logo is getting a refreshed design along with several bug fixes in the new Google Chrome version 100. It is almost 14 years ago that the Google Chrome logo got the "clean design" and all-encompassing “omnibox” design. Now, after more than a decade, Google is rolling out Chrome version 100 update on stable channels now across Windows, Linux, Mac, Android as well as iOS. "On March 29th, 2022, with the release of Chrome M100 to the stable channel, we’ll turn off Lite mode, a Chrome feature for Android that we introduced back in 2014 as Chrome Data Saver to help people use less mobile data on their phones and load web pages faster," Craig, Chrome Support Manager, had earlier said in a statement.
