With ‘Jurassic World’ ending, Bryce Dallas Howard is ready for her next act. (Hint: It’s not acting.)

“A lot of people talk about how being on a movie set that’s not your own can be very boring. Finding new dimensions in her once high-strung former theme park exec, Howard brings Claire full circle as she wrestles with her responsibility to the world, to dino-kind and to the ones she loves most: her raptor trainer beau Owen Grady and cloned youngster Maisie Lockwood, whom the pair are raising as their own after the events of 2018’s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” The film gave Howard a chance to ditch Claire’s high heels for good and ramp up her action heroine muscles, driven by a maternal instinct to protect Maisie from a shady biotech company.
