Stray dogs devour head of newborn after it is declared dead at UP hospital

A headless body of a newborn was found dumped near a government hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Lalitpur on Tuesday. On February 9, a pregnant woman named Sangeeta, a resident of Bahadurpur of the district, was admitted to the District Women's Hospital at Lalitpur Medical College. It is being speculated that the family threw the body of the newborn near the hospital and left the spot. Medical College Principal Dr D Nath and Chief Medical Officer of District Women's Hospital, Dr Meenakshi Singh, did not give any remarks on the issue at the time of writing this story.
