Finnair, the flag carrier airline for Finland, said on Saturday that industrial action would be taking place on 9 and 13 December, impacting approximately 33,000 customers. Due to the thousands of customers who will experience a flight cancellation in December, Finnair said it will not be possible to offer every person a re-routing that is close to their original booking. “We are doing everything we can to serve our customers well even in this difficult situation and will offer alternative flights to as many customers as possible.” For more travel news and advice, listen to Simon Calder’s podcast
