HYDERABAD: Spreading the Tricolour on the sky, the Indian Air Force’s Akash Ganga team was delivering a stunning performance as usual. But a crashlanding that occurred due to a sudden wind shocked 113 flight cadets from the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, at the Combined Graduation Parade. Akash Ganga skydiving was the first event of the day that began at 7.35 am and the crashlanding occurred around 7.40 am, before the parade marched in and the arrival of reviewing officer Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa. E. Sreenas, an Academy official, said that it was an untoward but minor incident that was caused by a gust of wind that caught the Commander’s parachute and caused him to lose control.
