UP Woman Ends Up Getting 16 Stitches After Husband Bites Lips During Argument

A woman in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura ended up getting 16 stitches after an argument with her husband turned gory and the man allegedly bit her lips. The woman started bleeding profusely and had to undergo 16 stitches at the district hospital, said the police on Friday. In her complaint, the woman, a resident of Nagla Bhuchan, alleged that while she was working at home on Friday evening, her husband Vishnu came home and started arguing without any reason, said Station House Officer of Magoora, Mohit Tomar. On learning about the incident, the woman's father took her to the police station and lodged a complaint against her husband, Vishnu, mother-in-law and brother-in-law, said the police, adding that she got 16 stitches on her lips.
