Mumbai University's convocation certificates feature embarrassing name error

Mumbai University has been caught with its pants down as the convocation certificates distributed to students who received them from MU had misspelled its own name as 'University of Mumabai' with logo has been distributed to several affiliated colleges for the graduating batch of 2023-24. While Mumbai University is known to get students' names misspelled on convocation certificates, this time it has got its own name misspelled. A city college principal said that misspelling one's own name is just embarrassing for Mumbai university. In the past few years, one principal observed that the number of errors in convocation certificates has reduced as Mumbai University allows students to verify their details and correct any mistakes before they are taken for printing.
